Go Pack!

The only requirement for this grooms cake was to have an NC State theme. I could have done the basic NC State "S"....but I wanted to do a true Macy Cake! And I think it turned out really well!

"All You Need Is Love"

Cake of the Week: To Celebrate Valentine's, I decided to post my parent's 30th wedding anniversary cake as the cake of the week. It was inspired by their 1979 wedding cake. The original wedding cake had a interesting plastic topper that I could not find, so I bought some of the same kind of flowers that my mother had in her bouquet. This was a total surprise for my mother as you can tell by the look on her face!

Book Club Cake

Cake of the week: This cake was created for a book club and these were some of their favorite books that had read so far. I have to say when making this cake I wasn't very excited, but once it was finished I absolutely loved it!

Cake of the Weeek: Pirate Ship Cake...With all the cake tv shows out there, birthday cakes have definitely come along way and many people are thinking outside of the box for their cakes! I've done a few "cut out" cakes now and this was one that I was a little nervous about, but it turned out really well!

One of my FAVORITES!

Cake of the week: This "Clue" cake was a suprise birthday cake for a friend's brother. They grew up together playing clue all the time and for his 30th birthday his family and friends set up a scavenger hunt around town and the cake was the final surprise! The cake was based off of the original board game.
